Horse Polo

Every year we get 7-10 horses, In the 2018-2019 season, we are very proud to have eight amazing polo ponies!

Our Beginner Horses:

Roja

Roja is one of our mares, she is a quarter horse thoroughbred mix. She is very sweet and extremely trustworthy. Due to her steady nature, she is great with riders of all experience levels.

 

Joey

Joey is a very spunky gelding, he is an American paint mix. Though he can be a bit sassy, overall he is very easy to work with and great for riders of all experience levels.

 

Daisy

Daisy is a palomino mare. She is very sweet and has a very smooth controlled ride. She is a blonde so of course, she can be a bit audacious, but overall she is a great horse for riders of all experience levels.

 

Our Intermediate Horses:

Ribbon

Don't let the name Ribbon fool you, Ribbon is one of our three geldings. He is a quarter horse thoroughbred cross. He is a very level headed and mild-mannered horse. He is easy to work with, great to ride and overall one of our friendliest horses. Due to his bouncy gate, it can be difficult for new riders to ride him correctly until they build the needed muscle, that is why he is in our intermediate category.

 

Mocha

Mocha is the newest addition to our herd. She is a quarter horse thoroughbred cross. She is very friendly, but can be very high energy and is one of our fastest horses, which puts her in the intermediate category. She is also a little mallet shy and needs a rider who is confident in their swinging ability.

 

Our Advanced Horses:

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a spicy mare, and one of the alphas in our herd. She is a quarter horse thoroughbred cross. Her fiery chestnut nature puts her in the advanced lineup.

 

Stelena

Stelena is a very sweet mare. She is a quarter horse thoroughbred cross. Despite her sweet disposition, she can be quite the fire cracker in the arena. For this reason, she is our most advanced horse and loves a confident rider.

 

Cognac

Cognac is the last of our three geldings, he is a quarter horse thoroughbred cross. He is the other leader of the herd. He can be a smooth ride and a good listener and could be in our intermediate category. He has a tendency to get excited during scrimmages and games, which puts him in our advanced category.
